Nonprofits receive 20% off our standard rates. Organizations which have applied and been approved for the California Teleconnect Fund will benefit from a 50% discount on CTF-qualified monthly recurring charges.

The cost of cloud phone service is determined by the number of users and by how many simultaneous telephone conversations are required.

The pricing examples shown below are typical of nonprofits we support:

  • a 5-person organization may need five phones, two lines and one dial-in number. Cost for California Teleconnect Fund-approved organizations (link to our CTF webpage): $14.95 per user per month. For all other nonprofits: $23.95 per user per month.
  • a 10-person organization may need ten phones, three lines and three “direct-inward-dial” (DID) numbers. Cost for California Teleconnect Fund-approved organizations: $13.95 per user per month. For other nonprofits: $20.95 per user per month.
  • a 20-person organization may need 20 phones, ten lines, one main phone number, and four direct-dial numbers. Cost for California Teleconnect Fund-approved organizations: $11.95 per user per month. For other nonprofits: $16.95 per user per month.

Please note that sample pricing does not include Internet, installation, taxes or government-mandated fees and surcharges.

Requirements

Cloud phone service requires an internet connection with adequate bandwidth to support telephone calls. Separate internet service (not shared with data) is sometimes recommended. Cloud-based telephones use standard Ethernet jacks and cabling within the office environment. Alternative Technologies can help you determine your needs and internet carrier options. You should understand that Internet service is not included in cloud phone service charges. Still, switching to the cloud usually results in dramatically lower monthly bills. That’s one of the reasons that so many organizations and local businesses are making the decision to switch to cloud phone service.

Installation

Self Service—DIY

Save money by installing cloud phones yourself. A staffperson with modest IT skills can set up your new phones to work optimally. They will need to know how to add a new device to your office network, how to configure any firewalls you may have on your network, and how to contact your internet provider if any changes are necessary.
